Bil-Jac Gets All Paws Up!

My dog Gizmo and I are just wrapping up my latest BzzAgent Campaign, Bil-Jac Dog Food...

Okay, so it has been weeks since Gizmo took the Bil-Jac Two-Bowl Challenge via the free bag of Bil-Jac we received, courtesy of BzzAgent.com...and subsequently began to refuse to eat her usual preference, Iams.  I got Gizmo the sensitive formula because she sometimes experiences loose bowl movements and gets "gassy"--which we do not appreciate. Haha.

Anyway, at first I was not happy with her stance because, although Bil-Jac is a natural dog food, which is preferred, it comes with a much higher price tag.  I am happy to report that I have been able to get some great coupons.  --If you participate in the two-bowl challenge and submit your dog's video on the Bil-Jac Facebook page they will send you and a friend $10 off any Bil-Jac dog food coupons.  They are also very kind if you write to them and let them know your dog loves Bil-Jac.  With or without coupons, Gizmo would continue to eat Bil-Jac because I can see how happy she is to eat (--she is normally slow to eat her food, and sometimes wouldn't finish her daily portion).  Also, as an animal lover, I will do just about anything to keep my pets happy.

Old Navy Jeans

For me, jeans are the hardest thing for me to shop for.  When I was in grammar school I refused to wear jeans because I found them to be so uncomfortable.  Even though I now wear jeans daily, I still find most styles to be uncomfortable, this makes finding pairs of jeans that I will actually wear brutal.  Also, I find myself unwilling to try new brands of jeans because I fear it will be a waste my time since, in my experience, I have not had much luck finding jeans that are the right fit for me.  That’s why I was excited to be chosen to participate in the Crowdtap Sample and Share of Old Navy Jeans.  This was my chance to give jeans that cost 60 - 85% less than the jeans I typically love a shot.

Pinkberry

I was fortunate enough to host a Pinkberry sample and share event through Crowdtap.  I received a $25 Pinkberry gift card to share with friends to cool off this summer with some Pinkberry in The City.

Pinkberry was awesome.  I don't know how anyone (including our household) survives without one down the street!  Pinkberry takes frozen yogurt to another level and I love how their yogurt is just a tad tarter than other brands of frozen yogurt.  When you combine their heavenly frozen yogurt with their amazing selection of fruit toppings and dry toppings the possibilities are endless.

The first combination we made was the watermelon frozen yogurt paired with watermelon puree and chocolate shavings.  It was so refreshing!  It is my new Pinkberry summer favorite.  Our next combination was coconut frozen yogurt with chocolate shavings and mango.  It was wonderful!  Then we tried the mango frozen yogurt with coconut.  Mango is my favorite fruit, so of course I was partial to this combination as well.  Our final combination was a bit more adventurous for us.  We got the salted caramel frozen yogurt with crispy crepes and some sea salt.  It might not seem so edgy, but for us it was!  And it was surprisingly delicious.

*I had an "emergency" come up so I haven't gotten pictures up, but I had to get a post up for Crowdtap!  Please stay tuned because this post with be reposted later tonight with pictures!  :)  Thank you for understanding.

*I HIGHLY recommend CrowdTap and Pinkberry!  You should really consider taking the time to join CrowdTap (and signing in at least once daily to complete any offers).  This was the third time in the eight weeks since I joined that I have been chosen to sample and share products via CrowdTap and I'm waiting to hear back from them about a fourth sample and share offer!  I also have gotten $35.50 (5% of which is donated to a charity which you choose).

Old Navy Active Wear Pants

Last week I was fortunate enough to receive four coupons in the mail for FREE pairs of Old Navy Active Wear pants (one for me and three for friends) from CrowdTap to sample and share.

When we went to Old Navy to pick out active wear pants, I struggled initially because I found that a bunch of the options had an extra piece of fabric added to the crotch area which made everyone look "swollen" down there.  I have no clue why Old Navy added fabric there, but it made the pants with this addition unwearable in public for me.  *This issue can be fixed! (See below.)

One of the pairs that I had this issue with I bought anyway because before I had gone to the store I was determined to pick them up.--That was the Fold-Over Yoga Pants (pictured below).  I did find a solution to the extra fabric issue--I removed the fabric and sewed the pants back together and now all is as it should be.  Now I can leave the house in them and wear them out to the gym, running, taking the dog to the park, or just running errands.

I wasn't able to stop there though, after reading all of the rave reviews about the Compression Capris, I had to go back and pick up a pair!  I love them!  The material seems to be a higher quality than what I have come to expect from Old Navy based on my past experiences.  These will definitely come in handy when I'm getting ready for my next marathon and running errands this summer.
I know I picked black for my pants which is a bit boring, but aside from finding it the best option (some of the choices seemed either too old or too childish for me).  I try to keep my active wear pants colors simple because my workout and summer tops tend to have colors to them and I wanted to be able to wear these all of the time.

*I HIGHLY recommend CrowdTap and Old Navy!  You should really consider taking the time to join CrowdTap (and signing in at least once daily to complete any offers).  This is the second time in the six weeks since I joined that I have been chosen to sample and share Old Navy products and I'm waiting to hear back from them about a third sample and share offer!  I also have gotten $13.50 (5% of which is donated to a charity which you choose).
