For me, jeans are the hardest thing for me to shop for. When I was in grammar school I refused to wear jeans because I found them to be so uncomfortable. Even though I now wear jeans daily, I still find most styles to be uncomfortable, this makes finding pairs of jeans that I will actually wear brutal. Also, I find myself unwilling to try new brands of jeans because I fear it will be a waste my time since, in my experience, I have not had much luck finding jeans that are the right fit for me. That’s why I was excited to be chosen to participate in the Crowdtap Sample and Share of Old Navy Jeans. This was my chance to give jeans that cost 60 - 85% less than the jeans I typically love a shot.
When my Crowdtap Sample and Share coupons arrived I headed out with mine on what I thought would be an impossible mission: finding cute, comfy jeans at Old Navy. To make sure I loved the fit, including the length, I brought a pair of flips flops, flats, and sneakers with me, since those were the shoes I wanted to be able to wear with the jeans.

Even though I love to save money, I admit that the jeans I typically buy are a bit pricey (ranging from $80 - $200), so I was skeptical about this Old Navy Sample and Share. Before I headed into Old Navy I had browsed their jeans selection online. At that point I had a style in mind, the Skinny Mini-Flare. Aside from going outside of my comfort zone by even considering Old Navy jeans, I was concerned with length, but at the same time I knew that I always have to have my pants tailored because I’m only 5’2”. When I tried on the Skinny Mini-Flare jeans, they fit better than I thought they would, but I wasn’t convinced because I would once again have to have my jeans tailored. I moved on to the Rock Star jeans which I felt made my thighs look much thicker than they should! I quickly moved on to the boot-cut Diva jeans (short length) and as soon as I put them on I liked them. They fit so well that they didn’t even need any tailoring! David liked them too, so I picked the Divas to take home and give a real world test drive.
As I type I am wearing my new Old Navy jeans and am growing to love them more and more each day. They still fit perfect and show no wear after being worn and washed six times.—They didn’t shrink at all when I washed and dried them!

I gave the other Sample and Share coupon to David’s sister. She said that she was initially skeptical that she would find a pair of Old Navy jeans that fit, but was pleasantly surprised to find a pair that fit great and were really comfortable. I wasn’t sure if she had worn Old Navy jeans before, so it was funny to hear that she had the same low expectations that I did, but also found a great new pair of jeans.
